Decaf or Caffeinated? Answer Right for Whiter Teeth!

Teeth WhiteningThe correct answer if you want whiter teeth is decaf. A recent preliminary study has shown that those who drink decaf instead of caffeinated drinks such as tea or coffee enjoy strong and whiter teeth. For reference the study results are below.

1. Caffeinated coffee.
2. Decaf coffee.
3. Caffeinated tea.
4. Decaf tea.

So the next time you go into Starbucks you might just want to re-think on that order of a cappuccino with an extra shot of caffeine.

Of course people have known for a long time that both tea and coffee stain teeth. But this study shows that it’s not only the dark color and acids that ruin a perfectly good set of white teeth but the caffeine itself too.

The effects of this staining can be reversed though. By cutting down on tea or coffee (both caffeinated or decaf) and replacing them with water you should be able to avoid any further staining. Then, with the use of a high quality teeth whitening product such as those sold at Pro White Teeth or the fantastic Teeth Whiten Tips you can have dazzling white teeth that look like new.
